A new event

The Mobile Network Innovation Summit is a new event for 2025 that aims to change the conversation around mobile network technology innovation.

For too long the industry has internalised the belief that the telco sector is “bad” at innovation and is being outpaced by the hyperscaler, cloud and internet companies, offering an uncertain pathway for innovators and poor return on capital for investors.

The concealed truth

Yet this view conceals the truth, which is that there are a host of companies innovating in mobile network technology, designing solutions to change the economics of telco networks, to create new business models for telcos, and to radically change the consumer experience.

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence technologies and machine learning models, new frontiers in radio silicon and materials science, structural changes within network architectures enabled by new software and cloud-native platforms, all offer genuine opportunities for innovation and investment.

MNIS will throw a light on the true sources of mobile network technology innovation, the deployment pathway within telcos, and the returns available to investors.

WHY MNIS?

There is no current event focussed on mobile network innovation, and that brings the ecosystem together across start-up, scale-up and global innovators and investors.

MNIS will expose the true sources of mobile network technology innovation, and the priorities of all in the value chain including:

  • Core and deep tech university and lab research
  • Early stage start-ups, to scale-ups and mature companies.
  • Mobile operator R&D, incubators and funds
  • External capital
