Gabriela Styf Sjöman

Managing Director, Research and Commercialisation, BT Group. Formerly held positions as Head of Networks at Telia and Chief Strategy Officer at Nokia. Is also currently a Senior Advisor to Serendipity Capital.

Professor Robert Joyce

As Director of Mobile Access Engineering, Virgin Media O2, leads the team responsible for the planning, delivery and optimisation of the O2 Mobile Network. Has worked for a number of operators and vendors around the globe.

Olaf Swantee

Chairman at Odido & Community Fibre, CEO turned investor & strategic advisor. Before assuming these board leadership roles, he was CEO of Sunrise Communications in Switzerland and of EE in the UK.

Nick Kingsbury

Nick is Partner, Early Stage Fund, Amadeus Capital. He is director on the boards of XYZ Reality, Brytlyt, DirectID, and most recently Sitehop who have built a high bandwidth, low latency encryption appliance.

As Director of Network Strategy & Transformation at VodafoneThree, Valeria leads a team driving the integration of Vodafone & Three UK’s mobile networks—one of the most ambitious Telecoms Transformations in recent history.

Sam Tabbara

Sam Tabbara is the Founder and CEO of Paradise Mobile, a fast-growing telecom startup focused on delivering modern connectivity solutions through disciplined execution and customer-driven innovation.

Ronny Haraldsvik

Serial start-up builder, including Flarion (exit to Qualcomm), Bytemobile (exit to Citrix), BelAir (exit to Ericsson), SpiderCloud Wireless (exit to Corning) and now CMO of Cohere Technologies

Brad Stimpson

Director, Wireless Technology, Bell,  responsible for developing and introducing new wireless technology into the radio access network (RAN). Key aspects of his development programs are applying AI and ML into the RAN.

Lisa Matthews

CEO at KETS Quantum Security, a start-up developing quantum-safe communication solutions. Matthews was  previously incubation manager for the University of Bristol's SETSquared incubator and portfolio manager at Jenson Funding Partners.

Stefan van Look

Stefan van Look is Head of Government and Institutional Affairs at OQ Technology. He is the primary contact at OQ Technology for regulatory and spectrum matters, government partnerships, and EU policy and funding.

Frank de Jong

Frank de Jong is Program Director, Quantum Safe Networks, Orange Business. He works with technology partners on commercially deployable solutions. He is also a Technology Evangelist and part of the Emerging Technology and Incubation team at Orange Business.

Obilor Nwamadi

Obilor (Obi) Nwamadi is a senior product manager for Viavi Solutions with responsibility for the strategy and go-to-market for NTN and RedCap product lines. He has worked in diverse roles such as academic & applied research, systems engineering, product development and product management.



Stephen Douglas

Stephen Douglas is Advisory Member to the UK Government on Advanced Connectivity Technologies and Head of Market Strategy, Spirent Communications. He drives strategic initiatives and thought leadership for 5G-Advanced, AI, and 6G networks, while acting as an independent advisor to several industry and Government boards.

Sara Robles Moreno

Sara Robles Moreno is CEO at Tomorrow Street, a joint venture between Vodafone and Luxembourg’s national technology incubator, Technoport. Tomorrow Street partners with innovative young companies and scales their technology solutions across Vodafone’s global ecosystem.

Simon Saunders

Prof. Simon Saunders OBE, FREng currently serves as an Honorary Professor at the University of Bristol within the Smart Internet Lab and leads the JOINER National Spectrum Facility. An elected Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Simon has previously held senior positions including Director of Emerging and Online Technology at Ofcom and Head of Connectivity Partnerships at Google.



Marie-Laure Lamouroux

Marie-Laure Lamouroux is Project Lead, Green Future Networks, NGMN and Director, Green ITN Program at Orange Innovation Network. She leads initiatives focused on sustainability, energy-optimised networks, and decarbonising telecom infrastructure within Orange Innovation.

Simon Björklund

Simon is Managing Director, UK, Ireland and Benelux, Polarium, an energy storage systems developer. Polarium develops smart battery management and storage solutions, transforming telecom battery backup into revenue generators by optimising them for smarter energy use.

Camilla Thoma

Camilla Thoma is CFO and Executive Board Member at Tavis Capital AG, a FINMA‑regulated Swiss asset manager. 
 
She is also Chairperson and CEO of MOVEAIR Energy Global AG, where she advances decentralised energy solutions and fosters cross‑industry collaboration in the transition toward climate‑positive technologies.





Faiq Khan

Faiq Khan is Senior Vice President, EMEA, at Rakuten Symphony, overseeing Enterprise Sales across the region.

With over 15 years of experience in telecom and cloud solutions, he drives strategic growth, strengthens customer relationships, and champions successful business outcomes throughout EMEA..

Jaymy Teh

Jaymy Teh is the VP Connect Product at Proximus Global, leading global growth strategies across connectivity, communications platforms, security, and nextgeneration Telco services.

With over 27 years’ industry experience, Jaymy translates complex technologies into scalable, marketready solutions and serves on the Innovative Operators Advisory Board.

Faisal Ghazaleh

Faisal Ghazaleh is EMEA VP of Solutions at Rakuten Symphony with over 20 years of international experience solving complex operational challenges at scale.

Renowned for uncovering efficiencies and unlocking new revenue streams, they bridge strategy and execution to drive sustainable monetisation, optimise performance, and deliver measurable results across diverse markets and industries.





Peter Marshall

Industry lead at JOINER platform, Marshall has roles in telecommunications over 25 years working at Vodafone and Ericsson, and with research bodies and start-ups to develop their business.

Luke Pearce

Pearce leads the Incubation Projects team at CCS Insight, pioneering global research programs that delve into the mobile industry's evolving landscape. He has become known for his leading position as an analyst in the development of the NTN sector. 

Kader Medles

Abdelkader (Kader) is Senior Principal Engineer at MediaTek. With a background in research and as an engineer, he has worked on space-terrestrial integration for MediaTek's 5G and 6G R&D. 

Daniel Thomas

Daniel Thomas is currently Head of Sales and Commercial Operations at Satellite Connect Europe, the joint venture between Vodafone Group and AST SpaceMobile, where he leads on all commercial aspects for direct-to-device satellite broadband service provider.

Dr Usman Hadi

Dr Usman Hadi, Ulster University, is a leading researcher in 5G and 6G wireless and optical communications, recognised among the top 2% most cited researchers globally for four consecutive years since 2021. He is the Founder of Drone Sentinel, and is developing 6G MIMONET, a novel deep learning (DL)-based MIMO detection framework.

Ivar Kruusenberg

Ivar Kruusenberg, PhD, is the founder and Chief Executive of PowerUP Energy Technologies, an innovator in hydrogen fuel cell technology. Its first clients include Telia and Tele2. Kruusenberg previously founded  successful scale-up UP Catalyst.  

Damian Lewis

Damian Lewis is market development manager at Viasat Enterprise, specialising iin satellite and NTN connectivity for IoT and sectors like automotive, maritime, and supply chain management.

Simon Frumkin

Simon has more than 20 years’ experience working in leadership positions at UK mobile operators including EE, Orange and T-Mobile. As CEO of Freshwave he has lead the UK-based connectivity infrastructure-as-a-service provider since 2020.

Jonathan Legh-Smith

Jonathan Legh-Smith is Executive Director for UKQuantum, the association for the UK’s quantum industry. He has extensive experience as an R&D and Innovation Executive, covering policy, strategy and programme management.

Abdulhamed Waraiet

A Royal Academy of Engineering Enterprise Fellow, Abdulehamed is focussed on building Robustient, a deep-tech spinout from the University of York developing ultra-reliable wireless infrastructure for mission-critical industries.

Callum Stirling

Callum is Innovation Lead for Quantum Technologies at Innovate UK, part of UKRI. Innovate UK is the central delivery partner for the UK government’s programme to support the development of the UK quantum industry. Callum leads on the programme for networking, PNT, and sensing technologies.

Dr Rui Wang

A lecturer at the University of Bristol and a researcher at The UK Integrated Quantum Networks Hub, Rui has worked on the development of photonics networking technologies for over a decade, specifically on quantum networking.

Art King

As Director of Product Management and Marketing, Cohere Technologies, King brings three decades of wireless, enterprise and IT experiences to Cohere Technologies. Previous roles include leadership at Corning, SpiderCloud Wireless and Nike.

Dmytro Gassanov

Dmytro is Architect, Network and Cloud, at the TM Forum. He specialises in Autonomous Networks, GenAI, and Cloud Native transformation projects. He has authored numerous contributions to ETSI, MEF, OASIS, IOWN, and other standards organisations.

Kieran Smith

Kieran Smith is the FT's telecoms and tech correspondent based in London. He covers European and some US telcos, in addition to technology issues such as food delivery, dating apps, UK startups and cybersecurity.

Roger Dewey

An internationally recognised leader in the growth areas of the Internet of Things (IoT) and enterprise mobile communications, Roger Dewey is the Founder and CEO of Able Device. Before founding Able Device, Dewey founded consulting firm M2MV and was of President and CEO of Telit Americas.

Jonathan Carrier

Carrier is CEO and Founder of Allye, a start-up that provides distributed energy storage at the grid edge, developing intelligent battery storage systems that work both on-grid and off-grid. The company raised a $2.5m seed funding round in October 2025. 

Professor David Grace

Grace is Professor (Research) at the University of York, leading the Communication Technologies Discovery Theme and Challenging Environments Translational Theme within the School of Physics, Engineering and Technology. Areas of expertise include Intelligent Networks, including Cognitive Radio.

Nick Carter

Nick Carter performs Business Development for Viavi Solutions including AI use for 5G and 6G Network Development. He has over 20 years’ experience working with Network Operators and Vendors in the wireless communication industry.

Jerry Carpenter

Jerry is Owner, Myca Communications. His career started in the lab designing microwave components for cellular and military applications before joining Hewlett Packard and then Rohde & Schwarz in 2006, holding various European and global sales and marketing positions. He has been a speaker at numerous conferences and now runs a marketing consultancy with a focus on mobile networks, cyber security and automotive technology.

Andy Bates

CISO StonesThro. Andy has over 30 years’ experience in cyber security and critical national infrastructure, across UK Government systems, as CTO EMEA for a Fortune Top 20 company, and with a global NGO founded by the City of London Police and the Manhattan District Attorney. A Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the CMI, he has spoken at RUSI, the EU Parliament and the World Economic Forum, and is now at the forefront of micro-edge cloud deployment.

Gabriel Brown

As Senior Principal Analyst, Mobile Networks, Gabriel leads mobile network research for Omdia GTM Telecom Insights and Advisory. He covers mobile network system architecture, including RAN, core, and service layer platforms. Key research topics include 5G to 6G transition, open RAN and AI RAN, 5G SA core, and cloud infrastructure for mobile networking.

Barry Graham

Independent Telecoms Professional After leadership roles at Motorola in its heyday, Barry has spent 20 years working across innovators, startups, scale-ups and spin-outs in the telecoms sector. He has been part of the leadership of 2 successful exits, and involved in other successful, less than successful, and not successful yet projects.

Steve Takhar

Steve Takhar (CRO) leads the sales and revenue growth strategies for Quside. Steve has over 30 years’ experience in enterprise sales & marketing roles in the enterprise IT vendor marketplace. These include Apple, SGi, DEC and EMC and sales leadership positions at both EMEA & global level at VCE, Dell-EMC, and CQC. Steve has successfully delivered in several new business and product launches at notably VCE & Dell-EMC.
